The Halfway House

We started the project around March/April this year, after a huge battle for many months with the planners to get planning permission, we finished our works around end of June.

The work as you can see was quite extensive whilst keeping the original character of the building. Upgrading the insulation of the building, keeping to a realistic budget for the clients to enable the pavilion to open up as a usable space, potential restaurant and seating area as the old picture shows from many years ago.

The current owners, Sean & Jenny also helped and supplied additional labour to do sections of the works, to keep the costs down, but over all the project came in on budget and looks fantastic.

The design work was pretty much done by ourselves and the owners but they did also use an architect called David Humpheys Ltd, Of Shrewsbury.
